Canada Post Address Requirements

CANADA ADDRESSING STANDARDS
How to address your mail to Canada
(not applicable to Canada Lettermail, Canada Admail, Canada Publications and Canada Parcels)

  • The last line of the address must show only the country name, written in full (no abbreviations) and in capital letters. This indicates an international shipment.
  • There must be two spaces between the province abbreviation and the postal code, as shown below between “ON” and “K1A 0B1”.
  • Use all capital letters with no commas or periods.

For mail being processed as Canada Lettermail, Canada Admail, Canada Publications and Canada Parcels, the addressing standards are the same as above, except “CANADA” should not be included in the address block.

Nutritional Suppliments/Vitamins To Canada

Due to Canada Customs import requirements, IPA and ISAL can no longer be used for nutritional supplements, vitamins or like product shipments to Canada. All parcels will be shipped via our direct to Canada Parcel Service.
All parcels require a commercial invoice or electronic manifest for customs clearance. A CN22 is not acceptable for customs clearance due to lack of detail.

All imports of nutritional supplements, vitamins or like products are limited to 90 day supply for each Canadian consumer per entry. Product ingredients that are prohibited and/or require DIN (drug identification number) labeling and licensing such as: Steroids, DHEA, L-Carnitine, Ephedrine, Hoodia, etc. A product list should be reviewed before the initial shipment is sent.
FDA registration is required for export of any returned or undeliverable products back to the U.S. from Canada. Registration at www.fda.com.
