DHL Express to Restructure U.S. Network; DHL Global Mail Not Affected by News

November 10, 2008

Dear Valued Customer,

The Board of Management of Deutsche Post World Net (DPWN), led by CEO Frank Appel, today delivered a series of announcements to the capital markets including the news that DHL Express will discontinue its U.S. Domestic and Ground products January 30, 2009 to focus on its core strength: international express shipping.

The DPWN Board of Management stressed that the DHL Express announcement does not affect DHL Global Mail, Global Forwarding, Freight or DHL Exel Supply Chain.

DHL Global Mail is part of the MAIL division of DPWN, the world’s leading logistics company, and one of the largest Workshare partners of the U.S. Postal Service.

We wish to make it explicitly clear that DHL Global Mail’s employees, facilities and services to customers – both in the U.S. and across the world – are not impacted by the changes being made to the DHL Express U.S. network.

If you have any concerns or questions about this development, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss this matter with you further at your convenience. You can reach us at 1-800-805-9306.

Yours sincerely,

Lee Spratt
President and CEO
